“Every child has a unique brilliance. My goal is to make sure that reading struggles never dim that light — in English or in Spanish.”
Yaneth Sanchez founded Lex i Lift Dyslexia Therapy, LLC on the conviction that the students who need the most are often given the least—and that it doesn’t have to stay that way. As a bilingual educator, mother, and clinically certified therapist, she brings these three perspectives into every family she serves, blending professional expertise with lived understanding.
After more than a decade in Texas public education, the same pattern became impossible to ignore. Bright, creative, and highly capable students—children who could think beyond grade level, navigate two languages, and solve complex problems—were still falling behind in the classroom. Over time, many began to believe the inaccurate message that they were not intelligent enough.
The reality was never about ability. It was about instruction.
Lex i Lift was built from that conviction — a practice that combines the rigor of clinical structured literacy with the warmth of a bilingual educator who understands, personally and professionally, what it means to navigate two languages, two worlds, and a system that was not designed with every child in mind.
Ask about what she loves and she will tell you about a specific moment — one she has witnessed again and again, and one that never becomes ordinary.
She is particularly moved by breakthroughs in the bilingual brain — the moment a student discovers that the same code-breaking skills learned in Spanish bridge directly into English. For many students, that moment is more than academic. It is cultural and academic empowerment happening at the same time.
Students describe her as their cheerleader with a plan. Sessions are structured and intentional, but they feel like a game. Mistakes are never causes for shame — they are data. And on the hard days, she holds the belief in a child’s ability until they are ready to hold it themselves.

Families trust her not just because of her credentials — but because of who she is.
As a mother, she knows firsthand how a learning difference affects the entire family. The late homework nights. The anxiety before school meetings. The weight of watching your child work harder than anyone and still struggle. She is a specialist by training and an ally by lived experience — and she brings both into every family conversation.
Being bilingual is not incidental to who she is — it is central to how she practices. Spanish-speaking families in the DFW area are significantly underserved in specialized dyslexia therapy. At Lex i Lift, their language is not an obstacle. It is the bridge.
When she is not working with students, her world revolves around family. She is a proud wife and mother to three children, and a self-described massive dog lover. She finds joy in cooking, photography, and the simple moments shared with the people she loves.
Whether working in English or Spanish, in-person or virtually, one-on-one or in a small group — the commitment never changes. Every child has a unique brilliance. We are here to make sure that reading struggles never dim that light.
A 30-minute conversation — no pressure, no commitment. Just a chance to talk about your child and understand what the right path forward looks like.
